Last week, to support their story writing about a boy and his puppy, our Y5 children were visited by a wonderful young cocker spaniel dog, Ralph, who visited us with his trainers from the ‘Hearing Dogs For Deaf People’ charity.  Ralph has just qualified as a hearing dog, having completed his training.  As well as enjoying the chance to stroke Ralph, the children were interested to learn how Ralph had been specially trained to alert deaf people to important sounds and alarms.  To learn more, make a donation or sponsor a puppy, please visit the charity’s website www.hearingdogs.org.uk.  Thank you to #Hearing Dogs for Deaf People for visiting our school and engaging the children. #engageandinspire #nurtureandgrowth #prideandjoy
