HISTORIC FIGURES DAY

This week, our children and staff were invited to dress up as an important historic figure. They had to know who they were, why they were important and when they were from. We had a great response to our day and everyone looked fantastic! In addition, our Y5 children learnt how Sir Malcolm Sargent was a smart dresser and that he liked to wear a carnation flower in the lapel of his dinner jacket when he was conducting orchestras.  All the children made a white carnation to help them understand the symbol of our school. #engageandinspire #prideandjoy #nurtureandgrowth
