This week in Year 3, we had a special visit from local Michelin-starred chef, Aaron Patterson. Aaron has been head chef at Hambleton Hall, Rutland for over 30 years and came to help with our current DT topic ‘Eating Seasonally’. He brought us some menus from different times of the year to show how the ingredients change with the seasons, and even brought in some exciting ingredients to see and smell (some of which had been grown in the gardens at Hambleton Hall!) He showed us how to chop food safely and we had a great time exploring all about food.
