Our Y4 children took part in a thrilling 'Really Romans' day at Peterborough Museum last week. The children participated in three different workshops; exploring the Roman Gallery, dressed as slaves, trying to decide what food to buy for a banquet; learning about Roman medicine and surgery from a Roman surgeon; and making clay heads as apprentice Roman potters. Many thanks to the wonderful Romans at the Peterborough Museum who led the workshops and to our fantastic PTFA, which generously donated money to help make our trip more affordable.
