Our Y1 children enjoyed a special visit this week from Miss Olver's granny, Mrs Bower, to introduce their new history topic called 'My Family History'. Mrs Bower talked to the children about life as a child in the 1930s and how different it was to today’s way of living. The children were very surprised to hear that there were no iPads, iPhones or televisions and instead Mrs Bower would wait to listen to children’s hour on the radio! #prideandjoy #nurtureandgrow #engageandinspire
