Last term, during their art lessons with Mrs Brown, each Y5 child had the opportunity to take part in creating papier mache planets which were added to a display of the solar system alongside other planets made by other schools. On Friday evening, some of our Y5 children attended the ‘Festival of the Moon’ at the Stamford Junior School, where the planets were displayed. The children had the chance to take part in lots of exciting activities as well as watch the lunar eclipse through a telescope. #engageandinspire #prideandjoy #nurtureandgrow
