Our Y5 children enjoyed a fantastic Anglo-Saxon Day this week, led by a visiting archaeologist/re-enactor.  They learnt Anglo-Saxon battle formations, played historical board games and even explored Anglo-Saxon artefacts. The children loved dressing up in replica helmets and immersing themselves in Anglo-Saxon history.
