Our Y4 children enjoyed a visit from our local Road Safety Officer, Andy Hall, who talked to each class about car safety. This included the importance of using safety car seats and booster seats and at what height you can legally start using adult seat belts (135cm). The children enjoyed being measured to see if they were tall enough yet. Other messages included not distracting the driver, using “Stop, Look, Listen, Think” when crossing the road, “Be Bright Be Seen” when walking in the dark and wearing helmets to ride cycles or scooters. #nurtureandgrowth #engageandinspire #prideandjoy
