Our Y4 children have been learning all about earthquakes and volcanoes in geography which they found really interesting. In DT, they were set the challenge of making a volcano which would erupt! It was quite tricky to make the classic cone-shaped volcano, but after some perseverance, the children did it! Making the volcanoes erupt was great fun. They saw lots of different eruptions, some were short and quick eruptions and some were slower and lasted longer. Some children even added glitter and streamers into the lava, to see if they would erupt too! #prideandjoy #nurtureandgrow #engageandinspire
