In Y2 art lessons, we have been looking at textures and have been inspired by the artwork of Max Ernst who looked at surrealism. We created rubbings on different textures using a range of mediums such as wax crayon and graphite pencils. We then tore our rubbings to create a frottage, by layering the pieces and sticking them down.
