This week, we launched the new Y5 topic of South America to the children, with a flight to the Amazon Rainforest! The children were given their own personalised boarding passes, and prepared themselves for take-off after an introductory welcome by Captain Stenson. The children then enjoyed an in-flight film all about the incredible Amazon rainforest. We are now very excited to read our Power of Reading book ‘The Explorer’ which is set in the Amazon. #engageandinspire
