On Thursday, Lou and Nadya, two local artists, visited Y5 children to show them how to make lanterns as part of their Georgian topic. The lanterns will be sent home soon so that the children can take part in the Stamford Georgian Parade on Saturday 28 September. The Parade will gather at 6:30pm on St Mary's Street, ready for departure at approximately 7:00pm.
